Welcome back!

We are now open again, with a surprisingly large number of students. The UK vaccination programme is going very well, infection rates have fallen, and here in the UK life is beginning to return to normal.

It is now surprisingly easy to travel to the UK and to join our school, and we offer free cancellation on all courses. New students are enrolling continually (see Recent enrolments on this homepage). Click here for more information.

Junior Summer School and Mini-Stay Courses

Junior Summer School

Junior Summer School

The OSE Junior Summer School provides a memorable experience for students from all over the world, blending first-class English language tuition with additional skills, activities and excursions both within Oxford and around the UK.

Each summer, our school hosts around 600 students from a variety of countries; our aim is for each student to develop their confidence in English, learn new practical skills, make new friends and experience British culture.

We welcome students aged 12-17. However we can accept a small number of students aged 11 but no more than 10 students of this age in total, subject to availability.

Mini-Stay Courses

Mini-Stay Courses

Our Mini-Stay courses are available throughout the Spring, Autumn and Winter months and can be tailored to the needs of the students in terms of course content, duration, excursions and accommodation.

To date, we’ve hosted groups from France, Netherlands, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Italy, Cyprus, Spain, China, Japan, Thailand, Russia, Kazakhstan, Lao, Israel, UAE and Turkey, Argentina and Brazil.

Each with their own tailor-made course we often combine Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in areas such as business, entrepreneurship, hospitality or even involving work experience placements with local employers.
